Jimmy Smith, PT

Jimmy Smith is Director of the Crest Physical Therapy program. His eleven year
professional experience in both clinical and management includes a Bachelor of Science, Physical
Therapy, a BS in Physical Education and a host of physical therapy and Emergency Medical continuing
education credits. Jimmy is a licensed Physical Therapist in New Jersey and New York and has
received such accolades as "One of the Best" Physical Therapists in Monmouth - Ocean County, NJ
from the Asbury Park Press.
Debra Keating, MPT, MBA

Debra Keating is a key member of the Crest Physical Therapy team.
Debra's background includes a Masters in Physical Therapy as well as eleven years of successful
physical therapy treatment experience. This experience includes such focus areas as evaluation and
treatment of orthopedic and neurological patients ranging from youth to geriatric in scope and nature.
Debra has developed and implemented aquatic therapy programs for patients with various diagnoses.
Karen Barlow Lisk, PT

Karen Barlow Lisk graduated from the University of Scranton and has been a licensed
physical therapist for over 18 years. Karen has extensive experience rehabilitating athletes from
Montclair State and Fairleigh Dickinson University. Karen's portfolio includes adult orthopedic
rehabilitation as well as six years therapeutic care with pediatric, orthopedic and neurologically
impared patients, ranging from infant to college age.
Jenny Jordan, PT, DPT

Jenny Jordan is a graduate of the doctorate program of physical therapy from the University of Medicine
and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2008. Her areas of focus include helping patients with orthopedic,
neurological, and vestibular dysfunction attain their goals. Jenny also conducts video gait analysis where
she breaks down the gait mechanics of patients ranging from elite runners to patients with neurological
dysfunction using Dartfish video software. In 2008, her research with fellow colleagues was published in
Physical Therapy regarding the use of the Wii in an adolescent with cerebral palsy.
Meghann Kolibas, PT

Meghann Kolibas is a licensed physical therapist with 8 years of experience. She is a graduate of
Springfield College where she received both her Bachelor and Master degrees. Her treatment experience
has focused on orthopedic rehabilitation of the adolescent, adult and geriatric populations as well as
vestibular rehabilitation and the fall prevention population.

Matt Smelas has been practicing physical therapy since 1996. He holds an undergraduate degree from
Villanova University. He is a graduate of the UMDNJ/Kean Physical Therapy program. He completed
his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012. He spent 6 years working at the Kessler Institute and gained
experience working with a wide variety of patient diagnoses including orthopedic, spinal cord, stroke,
amputee, and multi-trauma. He holds the OCS certification from the American Board of Physical Therapy
Specialists. This is the designation for a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist. He also holds the
CSCS certification. This is the certified strength and conditioning specialist from the NSCA (National
Strength and Conditioning Association). Matt also achieved his Vestibular Therapy Certification. He has received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine. He enjoys
spending time with his wife and 2 kids in his free time.
Carla McMenamy, MPT

Carla has 7 years experience in outpatient orthopedics that includes adult, adolescents and geriatrics
therapy and treatment. Carla is a graduate of UMDNJ-SHRP and Rutgers Camden.

orthopedics specialization. Amy signifies the meaning of treating patients one on one as she has deep
roots in the Navesink Area and a strong and loyal patient following because of her knowledge, skill sets
and personality.

Beth Roros is a certified hand therapist, who has 18 years of occupational therapy and hand therapy
experience. Beth has extensive occupational therapy experience that includes, splinting and treatment of
hand disorders.
Charlie Curtis, MS, PT, DPT

Dr. Charles Curtis MS, PT, DPT, Cert MDT is a graduate of Saint Peter's College
1984, Long Island University physical therapy program in 1987. In 2005 Dr. Curtis completed the DPT
program through Boston University. In 2006 Dr. Curtis became certified as a Manual Diagnostic
Therapist by the McKenzie Institute and in 2008 has passed the competency clinical test as a
Vestibular Rehabilitation specialist. For the past 10 years, Dr Charles Curtis has held the
position of Assistant Vice President of Rehabilitation Services at Bayshore Community Health Services
in Holmdel New Jersey and has owned and operated the Balance and Movement Rehabilitation Center.
Dr. Curtis presently lectures and consults on numerous topics including Hospital Regulatory Standards,
Clinical Documentation/Medical Necessity, Utilization Review Services, Fitness and Wellness Services
and Therapeutic Exercise Application and topics regarding patient safety regulations and Ergonomics.
Presently, Dr. Curtis is an adjunct professor at Seton Hall University, as well as holding, the
position as Director of Crest Physical Therapy. Dr Curtis lives with his wife and four children in
Little Silver, New Jersey.
